It's a very nice restaurant, it'll take quite a while to get your food, but the quality is excellent. Great lunch specials, and great dinner specials. Definitely a nice place to go for a quiet dinner.
We had a lovely lunch. I got the most delicious lobster pie and Peter enjoyed the scrumptious London Broil. The portions were generous and arrived hot from the oven. The wait staff was pleasant and courteous. The prices were very reasonable. I look forward to visiting the Continental again very soon.
5 of us went last night (Saturday) mostly to see the group Vinyl Groove, but we ate dinner there in the lounge also. First, the menus were disgusting -all greasy & dirty with different pages missing from each one of them. All of us liked our food, which ranged from prime rib, haddock, & baked shrimp. It was really good. The service was slow but the place was busy so we attribute the slow service to lack of help. The group was great- we all really enjoyed them. I recommend that someone clean up those horrid menus.
Very good servers, love the friendly hospitality, the people who go there (the crowd) is the same. Even though some can be kind of snobbish, richer folks. Overall it is an awesome experience, have been coming here for three-four years now and I love it. The only concern I have is on Thanksgiving when the turkey is served as it is now, it's dry and not too pleasant to swallow, however it's a great place.. the duck is good!
Loved it here. The staff is so friendly. The service is so prompt. The food is so good. It is a perfect place for a special dinner.
